Dear Friend in Christ,

Picture
Pastor Ventura & his wife Ofelia Ventura
On behalf of Faith Lutheran  Church we extend to you a warm welcome.
We are so excited that you join us by browsing our website, but it will be more exciting to have you as our guest at our Church congregation and meet you personally. Just as everyone individually is a special person to God, at Faith Lutheran Church we are a family that cares for the needs of all of our community members individually.
We all are so special to God  that He wants us to know Him for what He is, a loving, forgiving and life giving God.  He demonstrated all of that as He provided His Son to suffer on our  behalf, His Son Jesus Christ.
In Him he provides us with what  we really need in our own individual life, peace and hope, which come through  forgiveness that Jesus brings us.  His forgiveness brings to all of us a new  life which is exciting and far more richly.
If I can be of any particular  assistance to you, or if you have any questions about our mission or ministry  here at Faith please let me know
.

In His service,

Pastor  Ventura

My name is (Kristopher) Scott Brayall, and it is an absolute honour to be your Associate Pastor here at Faith Lutheran Church, Grande Prairie.
I am a recent graduate of Concordia Lutheran Seminary (Edmonton, AB). I look forward to walking with each and every person here at Grande Prairie through the highs and lows of life, and to take the love of Christ alongside of you into this community.
There are endless possibilities as to how I could introduce myself, but I suppose I could say that I enjoy playing trumpet and singing, that I love doing improvised theatre and directing, or that even though it’s been forever, I like to play badminton or frisbee. In terms of music taste, I’m about as varied as you could be, and it really depends on the day. I grew up in Fort McMurray (so in many ways Grande Prairie is oddly familiar) and have spent 6 of the last 7 years living in Edmonton (one of those years was vicaring at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Didsbury, AB—you can thank them for forming me, in many ways, into the pastor I am today).
I’ve been married to the lovely and remarkable Becky for nearly 4 years, and it has been a fantastic whirlwind of change and maturation, routine and adventure. She’s truly wonderful, but in order to get to know her, you should probably chat with her yourself; I can’t capture her in so few words.
Anyways, this is merely a glimpse at who I’ve become over my short time alive so far. I cannot wait to share more of myself with each of you, but more than that I cannot wait to learn more about you. As I have said, it is an honour—one that I truly do not deserve—to be able to pastor you, to share the Word of God in every season that you experience. Please, if you would, do not hesitate to invite me along for the ride.
